Delete Your Denning Account

Applies to the Denning app (package in.denning.app), published by ESPR Creative Lab.

You can permanently delete your Denning account and the personal data associated with it at any time. Deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period, after which your data is permanently purged.

Delete from inside the app (fastest)

1. Open Denning and go to Profile
2. Tap Privacy & Data Controls
3. Tap Delete account
4. Verify your identity with the one-time code sent to your phone or email

Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. You can cancel by signing back in within that window.

Request deletion without the app

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email support@denning.in from the email address linked to your account, or include the phone number you registered with. We verify ownership before processing and complete the deletion within 30 days of verification.

What is deleted

• Your profile (name, phone number, email, role details)
• AI assistant conversations and legal research history
• Saved guides, searches, and notification preferences
• Payment records held by Denning (transaction records required for tax/accounting compliance are retained as required by Indian law)

What is retained

• Content that is part of a shared case record (e.g. messages and documents in a case involving another party) is anonymised rather than erased, to preserve the other party's records
• Records we are legally required to keep (e.g. financial transaction logs) for the statutory retention period
